Please help id this very old roller

Quick Learner from California
Hi!

This had a metal tab with a hole in it that broke off. Plastic or nylon wheels go along a little ridge on the aluminum door track. Door originally installed in the 1960s we think!

We didn't find any markings (the glass was replaced years ago so perhaps that was where the markings used to be)

Tried looking at your photos. It is pretty close to 81-006 or 81-015 maybe. But I am confused. Not sure about the size so photos show it by a little measuring ruler. Does that help?

My sister thinks she can glue a replacement metal tab in place to fix it and I doubt it ? so I want to show her that better options are available!

Grateful for your services. Thanks

Hello,

I agree that the 81-015N is a possibility but you would need to carefully compare the dimensions below to your part since it's tough for us to make out accurate dimensions from photos. I can also confirm that the 81-006 wouldn't be the correct match since the back tab is a different style.

The height, width, and wheel diameter are key dimensions to determine if the 81-015N would work for your repair. You can also let your sister know that our opinion would be that gluing the tab back on probably wouldn't fix the problem. These rollers bear the full weight of the door, so they're under quite a bit of strain. Thank you!

Thanks. Will be able to measure later today. Would it be possible to order several sets and return the ones that did not fit?
Is there a restocking fee for returns?

I am in another county and have to drive over each time to help, so that would be very useful.

You are welcome to order as many roller options as you'd like. There is no restocking fee but you would be responsible for the cost of shipping the parts back to us. Our full return policy can be found here
