Balance Rod Support

I'm preparing to order balance rods from your website, but am having trouble identifying a part. Windows in our modular home are 20 years old. The rods are obviously screwed to the window at the top, but the bottom of the rod is supported from moving around by pieces of foam that are totally deteriorated. What part would I need to buy to support the bottom portion of the 900 series, 3/8", red tipped, spiral balance rods? Or is it even necessary to have the ends of the rods supported in the track. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello,
We do not carry a foam piece like yours, but we do offer the 26-139 hole aligner. Take a look at the specifications below to see if this would work for your application. You can still use the balances without an aligner, but it does help cut down on drafts coming through the window. Thanks for posting!
