Hi - I have a pair of single hung windows that have Model: 1000 SH and Car #: 279-171 on a label. I am trying to get some plastic inserts that are used to hold the screens in place. Can you point me in the right direction for getting those please?

Yes, they are different. One is rounded and the other isn't.

Unfortunately, we do not carry exact replacements for the screen clips shown in your photos. Our best option would be something like the 70-176 slip-on clip. We can't guarantee it would work, but review the specifications and see what you think. Thanks for posting!
