Channel Balances

Quick Learner from Waldorf Maryland
Our TH has wooden double hung windows installed when the home was built in 1994. There are brown/tan plastic jambs with extension coil springs you can see thru the slot. The windows are tilt in and can be removed. Once removed the sashes have a metal pin that slips into a white plastic piece that must be connected to the spring. I have taken them apart yet, I looked for a on line video for the style windows and didn't one. I have 13 windows and most need something fixed, it doesn't look hard and I have the skill to fix them once I find the parts. Some have a broken/missing spring, some have a broken/missing plastic piece the window pin locks in on. Do you have any information on these, I'll say it "cheap" style units?

Thanks for reaching out! I am confident that there is a replacement solution we can offer to you however, we'll need a bit more information to confirm pricing and availability.

To start, I'd like to see a photo of your balances removed from the window. Once we determine the type of balances you need we'll be able to confirm if there is an available replacement.

Let me know if you have any questions.
