I am looking for hinges for PGT Series - 5440-5540 casement windows.

we have multiple window sizes so at this point, we're just looking for a place where we can get the hinges bc when we bought the house, a lot of the hinges were rusted and we can't open the windows.

Hello there!

I recommend you start by taking a look at the 36-048 hinge set. Review the specifications and see if they match up. Note, we suggest replacing the top and bottom hinges at the same time.

just to confirm, I"m looking for the piece that attaches to the bottom of the window (it's the part you can't see) and there is a piece that actually fixes on the bottom of the window frame.

I know I originally said window hinge, but I dont' see on this picture of the hinge that you're recommending that it is including these 2 extra pieces. One that is on the bottom of the window itself (like If you lay on the ground and look up, you see that piece) and the piece that you see is on the frame. (see pix)

does the hinge include those 2 pieces?

Im asking bc those pieces are stabilizing our windows from falling out and they've rusted through.

I'm not sure what parts of the hinge you're referring to. I'm afraid I can't confirm without seeing the two pieces in question. However, I recommend watching the video below which will show you the details of how this part is installed to the window. Let me know if this helps.
