Parts Bought; Balance and Shoe

Question

We purchased 15-195B as it seemed like correct part but hopefully by pics sent you can see the problem. although it appears to be a plain balance where the shoe attaches is v shaped inward. The shoe has too much materiel in it and no groove for the pivot to slide down. Should I try to modify the new shoe by removing some materiel order you have any suggestions.

I don't think you can adapt those 15-195B T-lock shoes. You should return them (email customercare@swisco.com to do this) and order new complete tilt balances. You should consider the Series 795, which comes with a 15-195B attached. Our T-Lock shoes won't fit your old-style tilt balances, unfortunately. The modifications would weaken your balance significantly.
