Ah, this is a real problem. A lot of times, this is caused by tilting in the sash without raising it a few inches. You are out of luck in finding a welded sash that will fit your window. Many service people have bought our 26-395 and tried to retrofit it by cutting down the housing to fit in the broken section of the window. Your other choice is buying a new complete replacement window. I'm sorry we can't offer an easier solution!
