need help to incorporate lock with key to old sliding patio door

Question

We have an old patio door which has a lever inside for locking. The ouside handle haS a small round hole tgat can be punched out which I believe can accommodate a keyed locking mechanism. can you pls help to incorporate lock (outside only). Thx ramu

Sure. You're absolutely right, that circular punch can be knocked out to fit a key lock. See our 82-310. I think this could work with your current setup. We also have a video that should help you install it.
