how deep is the part to put fingers. I need to slide a window in its track horizontally. It pulls rather stiff.

Thanks for your question. As I am holding the 10-005 with my fingers, I can not get an exact measurement of the depth. May I ask what kind of slider window are you trying to use this part for ? What are you currently using for the window? May we see some photos? Perhaps we may be able to offer additional alternatives.
