Assuming that the top and bottom sash both have pivot bars, then they are usually going to be the same. I don't think I can think of a circumstance where they've differed.

However, that's something you should double check yourself before you buy anything. That's the only way to be 100% sure. The same goes for the design of the pivot bar itself.
