1/2" wide channel balances (S350?)

Hi Swisco:
We have six "Western Windows" with old/broken channel balances. Please help us identify - they all look like the S350 style.
Two windows (4 channels) #2720
Four windows (8 channels) #2790 35
We will also replace 12 take-out clips. I hope the photos help.

Hi, Bob. I think you are right. The S350-28 balance looks most like yours. You'll need four with the spring strength option 2720. For the balances stamped 2790, we'll need to know the weight of the sash to recommend the correct spring strength option.

The window sash (double pane glass) weighs 31.3 Lbs. Looks like I need the S350-28 #2765 to replace my old #2790 35 balances. I'm glad I double checked everything; I gave you the wrong quantities. I need 8 #2720s and 4 #2765s (or #2760). I will order these parts after you confirm that the #2765 is the correct unit for my 31.3 Lb window.

Thanks for getting back to us, Bob. I'm glad you double checked, too. If your sash weighs 31.3 pounds, then our 2760 option would be better. This carries 30 through 33 pounds. The 2765 would be too strong, since it carries 33 through 36 pounds.
