13 in. Sash Window Channel Balance

A quick learner from Everett WA says:
We perform maintenance on a few buildings that have a small bathroom window with a 13" channel balance but it appears your numbers do not match what is on the sample i have. The only numbers i can find on the one I have are 13 and a 2 with BS1 under it

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for contacting us. If your old balance has a "13 2" stamp, then odds are the metal channel is 14" long, not 13". I would double check to be sure.

I also see you were looking at our Series 385. Is this what Series you have? Series is determined by the style and size of the top and bottom nylon fittings. You won't find a stamp, code, or number anywhere that tells you what Series you have. The only way to confirm is go by the style and size. The Series 385 comes with a 19-005 top and 15-004 bottom, so if those match your current nylon fittings then you're good to go.
