133-1 AP series window latch lock

Question

Hi I just purchased this house from 1973 and the window latch is missing a spring. What should I purchase to replace it? The spring on the working latch measures 2 inches with the window closed and latched.

Thanks for reaching out to us! We do not have an exact replacement for the window latch you have here and I'm not sure it is available any longer. There is a chance one of our sliding window latches could work for your repairs but since most of our latches have a much different design from yours I cannot make any guarantees, unfortunately.
