I've attached pictures of my balancer.

I measured my original balance and it was 29 inches metal to metal.

I see that the number "28c" has no bearing on the final balance.

I need 10 replacements for 28c and two for 28f (second is a bigger window).

Thanks for posting! Given the shape of your shoe it looks like you have a version of our Series 380 witha 1" shoe or Series 385 with a 1-3/32" shoe with a winged top and a winged bottom. However, it appears your bottom shoe has a 7/8" depth which means that this will need to be a custom made assembly.

The good news is that we can get these particular balances made up for you here in our warehouse.

To confirm that your balances need the 15-029 7/8" shoe, look over the dimensions from the diagram below to confirm the depth of your bottom shoe. Let me know if it does not match your show measurement.

Once you have confirmed the shoe depth, if it is 7/8", I'll also need to know the exact number of balances you intend to purchase to get the order link made up for you. Keep in mind, there is an order minimum of (2) balances per custom balance.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I ordered the 28 inch s380 and the top fits so so along with the 1/2 inch sash guide.

It looks like my shoe measures .9 inches, 7/8 inch being .87 is closer than the s380's 1 inch.

My balance measures 29 inches metal to metal, and I think I need
10 balances that hold a 24 pound window.
2 balances that hold a 35 pound window.

I think your idea of using s380 with 15-029 7/8" shoe is a good option.

Thanks for confirming this information. I'm working on getting your quote made up for the requested balances, however, there is one thing I'll need to confirm to determine pricing and availability.

For the 35lb window, is this number rounded up to 35lbs or rounded down? It will be important to know the sash weight down to the ounce as this will determine the stamp you need.

The larger window is 34 pounds and 12 ounces. I rounded it up to 35 pounds.

Thanks for confirming. I've forwarded a link with a quote for the requested balances. The 28C stamp will be a 2840 option and the 28F stamp will be a 2860 option.

You'll be able to use this link to review your quote and place the order from your online cart. Be sure to check  you spam/junk folder for the email if you do not find it in your primary inbox.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Have a great day!
