As the photos show the length of the balance is 14 5/8" rather than a standard 14". Your service person indicated that it is likely a custom length. I can be reached at:

Hello there Greg!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending of 14-5/8" which is what makes it custom.
With that said, I'm going to email you a purchase link for (2) balances that you can use to place an order on our website. Please note that there is a 5-6 week lead time and there is a chance it may be longer.
