The 15-001 measures 1-1/8" deep where as the 15-002 measures 1" deep. Go to the product pages to see the detailed measures and compare to the shoe you are replacing.

Other than the dimensions, is there a way to determine whether my channel balance shoe is a 15-001 or a 15-002?

Thanks, I've been there and done that. I'm just a little unsure as to whether I'm measuring the dimensions correctly, since the shoes aren't shaped rectangularly :). For example, is the 1-1/8" depth measured at the widest point of the shoe? If so, then I think I've got a 15-002.
