15-048 pivot shoe new vs old question

One of the items I ordered was the 15-048 pivot shoe. I have not tried to install them yet (probably do it Saturday). I noticed the locking action is accomplished by the red piece pushing in a direction out from the side of the window into the channel. The original ones I am replacing locked by pushing toward the front and back of the window into the window channel. Is this just a different design or is it the wrong part? Thank you

Thanks for posting! Actually, the 15-048 pivot shoe does lock in the track by pushing toward the front and back.

Paul, thanks for the response. It still looks a little different to me. The originals locked by expanding a portion of the two narrow sides of the shoe, the replacement does it by expanding the wide side. Bottom line - they are in and work fine...thanks again
