16" Window Balance

A home owner from Fort Lauderdale, FL says:

Hello ... I have two window balance that I am looking to replace. I have attached most pictures of one that has 1640 BSI (pix 4 if you zoom in on track) written on it and other has Caldwell identifier (pix 1). Notice that the top piece is flat small wing where a screw goes into it and the bottom has shoe that is 1 inch from wing to other side. Any help with identifying which part I can order from you would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Mark

Hello there. You have an old Security window that uses a 17" channel balance with the 19-042 Top and 15-005 Bottom attached. The stamp code 1640 indicates it can support a sash in the weight range of 14 through 19 pounds. We can supply this balance for you via a custom order. I just sent you an email with a custom link enclosed to order a pair. Let me know if you have further questions.
