18 year old window balances

Question

Attached photos show top and side views, both ends, of the balances for one of my windows. The metal part of the balance (i.e. not including plastic ends) is 31 inches long. They are 18 years old.

I cannot tell who the manufacturer is.

I have about a dozen windows I want to replace the balances on, of varying sizes. If you can identify the type of balance, please point me to information on how to measure and order the others.

I'll start with just replacing these, then order the rest once I know everything fits correctly.

If you have a distributor in San Diego that I could go to, that would be splendid.

Hi, Bill.

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-31 or S385-31 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need a 3030 spring strength option.
