I have a couple of old windows in my house. They're in great shape, but the handles are a little worn. I seem to have two kinds of windows: ones that fit the 3/8 spindle and others that have handles that look like these, which are larger. Finding these/replacements has been difficult. Do you have any suggestions on what would replace these? I have a Pella x429 handle and it does not work on these windows. It's too small to fit.

Hello,
We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need you to write out the exact diameter fo the opening in your handle if it does not match the 3/8" diameter of most Pella handles. We'd also like to see the operator that the handle attaches to with the window open so that the arms that move the sash are fully visible. Thank you.

It looks a bit over 3/8 like 7/16. I'm having a hard time telling. I've attached a photo of it and the window open.

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, we do not carry a version of the 39-109B Pella handle with a larger opening than 3/8". I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
