1959 Sliding glass door

We broke the handle of our vintage sliding glass door. The screws are 3 1/2" set, but the hole for the lock is offset. Would a surface mount lock work for us??

You may have no choice. Your hole pattern is a little peculiar, so I'm not sure what this door might use otherwise.

I see you were looking at our 82-016. This has a 3-1/2" hole spacing, which matches yours. It may be worth considering, but we have other styles if you were interested in drilling a new installation hole.
