1968 mayfair single hung window questions

house was built in 1968. several panes are cracked and the glazing is cracked and brittle. hate the look of the frames.

i was debating replacing all the glazing, and considering the white. hoping it would change the look. might paint the frames if necessary. can you identify the glazing i need or do i need to remove one and take a photo?

if possible, i would like to replace all the glass panes in the windows with laminated glass. is that possible? can i buy cut panes of laminated glass?

the measurement is 5/16 on the side that goes from mullion and goes down under the glass
