1970s Sliding Shower Door Bottom Piece

Home Owner from California
Hi,
My 1970s shower door isn't gliding smoothly, and I think it's because these bottom pieces are worn out. There are four of them, two on each door. The pieces measure about 5/8" x 3/8" x 3/8". The door/frame has no markings, but the glass is stamped with "Arm-R-Clad CE Glass Safety Tempered ANSI 297 1 1575 3/16U SGCC 414 NDA."

I have had no luck trying to find a replacement piece (or even figuring out what this piece is called), so I hope you can help! Or if an exact replacement isn't available, is there a substitute you can recommend that will get them sliding smoothly again? I want to avoid replacing the doors if at all possible.

Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement for the broken shower part shown in your photos. Since many shower door manufacturers have gone out of business over the years, it is difficult for companies like ours to stock all of the parts used for every type of door. With that being said, you're welcome to look through our selection here. I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
