1980 or earlier desk hanging file drawer with Grant sliders not closing

Question

Need help diagnosing problem with a drawer that only goes in as far as the slider that is mounted to the inside of the desk hits the end/stop near the back of drawer. Photos attached.

Drawer closed fine until it was recently removed to lighten the desk for moving.

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say that we cannot supply you with a replacement for the type of drawer slide you have here. You may have some luck contacting the manufacturer, if they are still in business but I cannot make any guarantees.
