1990 era Marvin double hung window weather stripping bottom seal

Please help
Thank you

Hello there. Start by looking at our 58-055. This bubble seal is offset and mounts with a kerf seal. See the end profile dimensions below and see if you think this could work for you.

I'll check it

I checked and the dimensions seem to work except I'm not sure the kerf on my window is wide enough
I measured it with inserting business cards-
5 make a snug fit
I measured them and it's about 3/32"?
Think the barbs on the insert will allow it to go in?
Joe

I think it would be okay; the "ribs" on the 58-055 kerf are meant to flex. If the gap is a little smaller than our kerf at 3/32", then the ribs would bend to fit while acting as a brace to prevent it from yanking out on its own.
If you're still worried it's too big, you could consider our 58-170B as an alternative. The bubble is a different design, and it's not quite as angled as the 58-055, but the kerf is slightly smaller at .105". It may be worth considering.

I'll give the 055 a try
