1990's Weathershield awning window

Question

The house was built in 1994 with wooden Weathershield windows. The number on the metal inside window is: WS IGCC (R) CBA

The window screen measures about 30"w x 29.5" h
The crank housing (?) is about 5" wide.

It looks like the handle mechanism is stripped. I've attached photos and hope you can tell me which part(s) I need to replace.

Yes, if that worm gear comes out it means the entire operator has broken down and needs to be replaced. Now, if this is an awning window, Weathershield awning windows have been known to use our 39-348 in the past. But it would be best to compare it to your old hardware to be certain.
