1990's era Stanley bifold door top bracket

Question

I can't tell what is wrong with this bracket. It tightens up in the track but then slips when the door folds out. Would you recommend replacing the entire top track and hardware?

Thanks for reaching out! Your pivot bracket is no longer made unfortunately. Subsequently, we do not carry the track compatible with this this pivot bracket. The good news is that we do carry a newer style track from Stanley/Home Decor. We carry this style in a few different lengths; 24" (21-450), 36" (21-452), and 72" (21-455).

You'll need to carefully compare the dimensions, to confirm that the measurements are a match. If our dimensions do match your track, then our 7/8" wide 21-175 Pivot bracket should fit your track.

It might be a good idea to replace all of the hardware but, ultimately, you'll need to make that decision based on the information provided and confirming the measurements. The tracks include pivot brackets, roll guides, and snuggers.
