If you have, looking for left and right side coil balance, 3/4" wide, #408 and below that CK.

Please start by reviewing the 15-192 CertainTeed pivot shoe that is compatible with the Series 170 coil springs. Note that the newer shoe has front aligners, if the shoe does not fit in the channel as is, you may need to shave these down.

Please see the S170-408 coil spring, 15-157 balance drum and 15-156 cover. Compare dimensions and let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for your kind response. Am I correct in understanding from it that a window can use any coil balancer that has the weight capacity and can be made to fit in the slot? If so, and I hope so, please identify the part you refer to as front aligners, I don't know what they are or look like. I understand sash balancers cannot be returned if modified. Two more questions, and do you ship USPS? Thanks again.

We always recommend sticking with the original style/brand of hardware if possible to confirm the best fit. As the pivot bar on the sash needs to be able to engage as well.

CertainTeed has upgraded the pivot shoe. If you refer to the picture above of the pivot shoe, you will notice the protrusions on the front of the shoe. This shoe may fit as it, but if its not fitting in the window channel, you may need to shave down the front of the shoe to get rid of the extra depth.
