I have no way to send you a picture of our hinge but it is exactly like the one of the one I saw on your internet page. My husband doesn't think the one you have will work unless we buy two and replace them both as the one you have is not like ours

Yes, when replacing hinges, you should replace both sides at once. Even if you had an exact match, you'd want the top and bottom hinges to operate evenly and be equally broken-in.
