A quick learner from Pleasanton,ca says:
Can you provide assistance with determining what the correct part number will be for replacing the balance rod in the attached picture? The length of the rod is 30 inches.

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see the fittings attached to both ends of the metal balance channel to compare to our inventory. Please note that the stamp code indicates the spring strength needed to support the weight of the window sash but not the balance series that the window uses. Thank you!

Does this phot provide the detail you need? Please advise. Thanks for your quick reply BTW.

In looking on your website, it looks alot like the series 385 but in a 30 inch length. Is it available in 30 Inches. We did confirm that the metal portion only is 30 inches .
Thanks

Thanks for getting back to us. The part in your photo does resemble the S380-30 or S385-30 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below to choose the correct replacement. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

You'll still need to confirm the stamp code on the metal channel to choose the corresponding strength option on the balance product page. Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
