1999 Simonton Spring Balance replacement

Question

Hello - I have a double-hung Simonton with a 1999 mfg. date that has a broken spring balance on one side.  Can you provide a recommendation on parts to replace?

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you, but we would need to see the coil springs and pivot shoe they connect to fully removed from the window to compare to our inventory. See the videos related on this page to assist you.

As for the tilt latch, we can't be sure based on a damaged latch, but the 26-243 and 26-244 would be a good place to start. Take a look and compare the specifications below to an intact latch. Thanks for posting!
