Hi there!

For one of your balances, it looks like you have an S350 channel balance.

As for the other balance, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

For the metal channel stamped with "20 4" you will need a spring strength option of 2040.

For the metal channel stamped with "20 3" you will need a spring strength option of 2030.

If you have any other questions please let us know.

thank you! So two questions.

1. these pieces are from two different identical windows and I was told I should purchase both sides of the new channels (so a total of 4 channels) and I expected they all should be identical since they're the same windows, am I wrong?

2. is this 1 inch or 1 3/32 inch (question)

Taking another look at your pictures, the top fitting on one of your balances looks to be damaged. Did the wings on your top fitting break off? If so, you'll need either the S380 or S385 for both balances.

It looks to be on the 1/16" mark but the tape measurer might not be evenly lined up, could you double check that measurement for us?

Yes, I do believe pieces most likely broke off. They are the same window. Here are a couple more pictures with the tape measure hooked & flush at the end of the one end.

Your bottom attachment looks to be 1-3/32" so you would need the S385.
