20 year old Vinyl Sliding Door

Question

I have a 20-year old Wenco Vinyl Sliding Door (made in AZ). The head rail is not removable. I have retracted the wheels on the operating panel as much as possible. I am lifting the operating panel up as far as it will go but I cannot get the bottom of the panel to clear and lift out of frame. What is the trick to removing the operating panel? Thank you. P.S. I purchased replacement wheels and track from Swisco.

What I normally do to remove the sliding patio door panel is go from the outside of the house, removing the stationary door first. In some cases, you cannot clear that bottom track on the inside of the house. Take a look at the related videos on the right-hand side of the page for more help.
