2003 Nu Air double hung non tilt window 62 Wide X 62 Tall

A quick learner says:
Need to replace the 2 balance springs for bottom sash. Bottom sash weighs an estimated 40 lbs. Balance spring is 30". Markings on spring are 29 5 HV CMC 2.

See our S380-30 or S385-30. The only difference between these two channel balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. The image below illustrates the difference. You'll also have to choose the correct stamp option for these balances. Note that you say your window weighs maybe 40 pounds, but a stamp of 29-5 corresponds to our stamp option of 2950, which designates the balances are meant to support 28 through 32 pounds. Please confirm this is right before proceeding.
