I have the above window installed and the left casement window has a rotted sill under the aluminum cladding. I have replaced the bad window with a new sash and have the operating mechanism attached to solid wood with longer screws. The problem I have is the sill is now a bit lower where the mechanism is attached because the longer screws have drawn in the aluminum cladding slightly.

Any suggestions on how to raise the sash up slightly so the sash closes properly. Right now it operates OK until it needs to seal the last couple of inches and I have to go outside and push the sash to complete the seal.

Thank you for your patience while we looked into this. I've actually had a similar situation on one of my casement windows at home. What I did was to use a shim, like a piece of wood, under the hinge to help prop up the window sash. This worked out well in my case.
