21-100 for 5/16" diameter rods

recently purchased your bifold door pin cap item 21-100, but discovered that although the outside dimensions of the cap lined up perfectly with the caps that needed to replaced, the original rods are larger - they are 5/16". Do you have another product that would be usable.

All of our 3/8" caps take 1/4" pins, even the ones who measure 5/16" along the base. You may need to grind the tip of the pin down to 1/4" to accept the 21-100. If you are good with your hands, you can also carefully drill the cap to accept a 5/16" pin. I'm sorry we can't offer a better solution.
