21-1/2" balance

Question

I am a handy man in a condo community 7,000 homes.

I am fixing this window. balance is 21-and-1/2" long, just the metal. You go from 20 to 21 inch to 22 inch long. What should I do?

Your balance closely resembles our Series 351. You will need to measure the depth of your bottom shoe and compare it with ours to confirm it is a match. As for the length, make sure that you're measuring the length from metal, excluding the nylon attachments. We also need to know if your balance has some sort of stamping or marking on it.
