21-154 Application

Question

Will the 21-154 clamp work with the existing rod??
The old style clamp has a metal bracket and I was concerned that the all plastic clamp might break too easily.

The 21-154 is for a 5/16" pin. It is also a new style clamp from the door manufacturer. Manufacturers always try to use plastic to cut down the cost of metal. That said, we haven't anyone make complaints about this clamp breaking.
