22 inch channel balance

Question

I am pretty sure the replacement is series 390. On the existing balances the o only markings are 21 A and 21 B. Does this suggest there is a right and left balance?

Hello! I think you're barking up the right tree. If your metal channel is 22" long and you have the 1-1/8" shoe shown below, then you have S390-22. Your "21A" and "21B" options are "2110" and "2120" in our system. These balances fit in both the left and right sides.
