22# stamp on type 385 sash balance

A quick learner from Vancouver, WA says:

Hello - My sash balance is stamped 13 9 22# which I believe means we need a 22 lb option. Can you help me with this?

Thank you

Jeff

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Jeff. A stamp option that has a 9 at the end of the first string of numbers is from an older rating system we don't use. We advise obtaining the exact weight of your window sash to confirm the stamp option you need. From there, you can match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside the stamp option chart on the S385-14 shop page.
