2230 F channel balance. 23 inches long. 5/8 " deep and 5/8" wide

Your balance closely resembles both our S380-23 and S385-23. The only difference between these two balances is the depth measurement of the bottom shoe. The depth measurement of the bottom shoe for the Series 380 is 1" and for the Series 385 is 1-3/32". Measure the depth of your shoe, like in the diagram below, to determine which balance would make the best match. Whichever one chosen will use a 2230 option.

The depth of the bottom shoe measures 7/8 inch. The house was built in 1984 but these windows were added a few years later. The shoe may have worn down some over the years.

That is entirely possible. So go with the S380-23 and see how that works for you.
