Having trouble with the tabs on 23-176S hanger

A quick learner says:

Not sure if this model is mine but it looks the same. I have them on sliding shutters and trying to remove. The white tab moves easily but the grey one does not. Is there some trick ? Do both tabs need to be slid over to release ? Don't want to break off.

You are correct, the white tab slides back easily while the grey requires more pressure.. Slide back the white first then the grey. It shouldn't break.
