23-215- Proper installation?- TECHNICAL -A bit confused in Canada

Handy Person from Canada

Greetings from Canada - I don't believe that I have to tell how much easier it is to remove the doors compared to hanging them back up. I renovated an older closet and have begun to reinstall the doors by tilting the bottoms towards me and dropping the top rollers in. I'm happy to say that both doors are proudly hanging .

The confusion now is the bottom glides-They seem to be the 23-215's---Are they suppose to sit on the groove with the weight of the door forced downwards by the adjustment screws??--OR do they actually snap into the groove of the track to lock them in at the bottom?? The bottom glides (215) do not have the adjustment screws-Are they supposed to have??-Please confirm this. Just want to know if the 215's just glide ontop of the groove with the top adjustment downwards to keep the bottom on track?-or do they snap in?- Do the 215's need adjustment screws?-and if so-do you sell them separately ?-thank you for your time-Steve in Canada **-sorry for the length  of this post-but I checked and could not find one of your helpful installation videos on this part

Thanks for reaching out to us. The 23-215 doesn't use an adjusting screw, it actually floats in the track. After you hang the doors on the top track, swing the bottom of the door over the track and align the 21-215 bottom guide over the groove of the track. Now slide the nylon runner into the track using a putty knife to squeeze the bottom fork so it can slip into the bottom groove of the track. Once the guide is in the track, it will lock in the groove.

Thanks Paul--the bottom of the vinyl glide is split into 3 tabs it seems---could you please tell me which tabs to pry in and which to leave out of the groove of track?? The three tabs of course being the two thin ones on the outsides and the large one in the middle .thanks again Paul

I should of just asked you if the bottom fork that you refer to ---is the large middle tab?---and then the two smaller outer tabs-do they go inside the track as well -or do they stay out.??
I should get this soon enuff and it will alot more sense when the bottoms are locked in and don't swing out-Steve in Canada(not wanting to break the vinyl )

The three nylon forks in the middle of the housing will all go into the groove. The two outer forks catch the one side of the track and the two outer forks catch the other side of the track. I hope this helps!
