23" in length (metal) stamped 143

From a house built in 1975 non tilt window  looks like the ride in a small grove inside the channel. Both top and bottom plastics are in bad shape.  Thanks

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. We're happy to look into this. Do you have an undamaged version of this balance? We would like to see up-close photos of the top and bottom fittings. We will also need you to weigh the window sash on a scale and tell us the precise weight.

It looks like you are showing the same photos from your original post, which we are not able to use to confirm if replacements are available due to the amount of damage. We will need to see detailed photos of both end fittings attached to an intach balance removed from the other side or an identical window to research this for you.

Thank you for the photos! It looks like you have a Pan Am window that uses balances with the 19-035 and 15-007 fittings. This configuration isn't a part of our stock catalog, but we can still assist via custom order.

The old 143 stamp may actually translate to the 2230 stamp option, but we recommend you weigh the window sash to confirm it falls within the 12 to 19-pound range before placing your order.

With that said, I'll go ahead and email you a purchase link for (2) 23" long balances with the 19-035 and 15-007 fittings and 2230 stamps that you can use to place an order on our website.

If you need a new top sash guide, see the 18-164 and see if the specifications align. This part isn't included in the link so don't forget to add your desired quantity to your cart separately.
