24" Channel Balances

Home Owner from Florida
Howdy,

I found your website and need some help identifying these 24" x 1/2" channel balances I pulled out of my old aluminum windows. Please let me know if y'all carry these parts.

I appreciate your help!

I pulled out the sash guides and took some clearer photos.

Hello and thanks for writing in. Have a look at our S377-24 channel balance. This comes assembled with a 19-018 balance top and 15-005 bottom balance shoe. Compare your fittings with ours to see if everything looks like a good fit. If so, you can go with the 2340 option that supports a sash weight of 18-23 pounds. The "sash guides" you're referring to are just the fittings attached to the balance. Should you need to replace your guides as well, please remove one from the window and attach photos for us to see. Measurements will be needed as well.

Hi Manuela,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Everything checks out but I'm not too sure about the 15-005 bottom balance. I've attached another photo of it with the same angle of the 15-005. These parts look very similar and maybe they are interchangeable? Thank you for all of your help!

Your bottom balance shoe looks to be a little different in design, but I don't believe that should matter. As long as the dimensions match up, then you should be good to go.

Diagram on how to choose between the 15-001, 15-002, 15-004, 15-005, and 15-029 channel balance shoes.

The dimensions do add up so I'll give it a go, thank you!
