2440 FD Channel Balance

Question

Looking to replace four window Channel Balances.
The part number stamped on the balance is 2440 FD. Not sure what the FD means, if anything.
The metal channel is 25" long and .563" wide.
Photos of the end pieces are attached/included.

Thanks for your post! The balance you have here looks like it could possibly be replaced with the S350-25 Channel. Although, to confirm that this the correct replacement, it would be a good idea to confirm the depth of your bottom shoe; see the diagram below for reference.

Regarding the stamp, our 2440 stamp option will support a sash weighing 19 to 24lbs. You'll need to confirm the exact weight of your sash to determine if this is the correct weight range for your sash.
