24E 747 Tilt Balancer

A quick learner from Salisbury, Maryland says:

I am looking for the correct part number to replace these balances.

Milgard told me the part description they use and this is placed in my subject line. The window itself is a double hung W 29" x H 24". The photos taken are from a good window so I did not remove the balance. I am hoping it still gives you the view you need. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks,

Craig

Hello,

This balance is similar to our S795-24 but ours installs with a screw tab rather than a hook. Due to the shape of the cut out in your jamb, the best route would be to do a custom order for balances with the same hook that yous use.

To get started, we'll need to know the width of the t-lock shoe when it's removed. Our balances come with the 1-1/4" 15-195 but we also have a smaller, 1" 15-194 shoe. Also, we'll need to know how many you'd like to order. Thank you!

A quick learner from Salisbury, Maryland says:

Hi Casey,

I took my old balance out and believe the shoe need is 1 1/4 in. I'll attach photos. I think I should order 2 if it's a special order. That way I will have a spare. How much will they cost? If I replaced them all I would need 6. The width of the U shaped steel piece looks like 5/8". Let me know if you want additional photos.

Thanks for your help,

Craig

Hi Craig,

We've sent over order links and price quotes for 2 or 6 replacement balances in a separate email. Please let us know if you need anything else!

A quick learner from Salisbury, Maryland says:
Thanks Casey!
I'm ordering a full set of 6 while I am at it. That way I'll have enough spares to last a lifetime! Ha!.
I appreciate your help. Have a great day.
