Opened window and then it wouldn?t close. Then I noticed that part of the white string was hanging out the top. Figured out how to take out the spring and got it out of the window channel.

I probably need two of these, just in case and wiill keep the old one that works as a spare. The one that broke, the lower white roller decided to break, which I?m surprised because these windows are only 20 years old and I think in that time frame we have only opened them maybe 20 times.

Do you need any measurements of the plastic ends or metal? Both plastic ends have edges on both sides. These I believe are Non-tilt block and tackle balance type of springs.

I'm seeing S385-26 here. Compare the details to make sure, particularly the shoe shown below. "25 3" is your weight code, and that is comparable to SWISCO's 2530 "option."
