With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

The length of the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments should measure 26" long and you will need a 2540 stamp option.

That 3/32" is very important in my experience. If the shoe is too small, then your window will shift from side to side during operation, since there's not enough padding for it to brace the sash properly. If it's too deep, it will literally dig into the vinyl track during operation and could even permanently damage the vinyl.

If your balances are particularly old then you have to keep in mind that there will be a certain amount of wear. In other words, the shoe's depth will be less than it once was just from the constant friction of day to day usage. You need to account for that when you measure.
