2530 and 2540 Hinge Window Balances

Hello,

I have few windows that require the 2530 and 2540 channels. I believe the windows are Silverline (as per neighbor) but I was not able to read any stickers on the window itself since all of them deteriorated. Both channels are 26" x 9/16" x 5/8". The 2530 has fittings on both ends while 2540 only on one side. 2530 looks like it has 19-008 on top and 15-025 on the bottom while 2540 has only 19-008 on top. I've searched your site but I don't see channels with this configuration. If possible I would like to purchase the entire set. If not which channels should I go with and I can get all the other parts and assemble it myself.

Hi Dominik. Don't worry, we can replace these hinge window balances. They just have to be custom made due to their very unique design: as you noted, the stamp codes are different, and the 2540 lacks the 15-025 bottom fitting (you identified both fittings correctly!). I am sending you two custom links, to order (1) of each type of balance: (1) of the 2540 Stamp Balance with 19-008 Top and NO Bottom; as well as (1) 2530 Stamp Balance with 19-008 Top and 15-025 Bottom.
